Despite what academics and snooty music forum types would like to think, at the end of the day Aphex Twin is a demonic little gremlin from Cornwall who enjoys taking the absolute piss and making people uncomfortable, which usually results in some of the progressive, interesting music ever recorded. This is what happens when you leave a madman trapped in a room with nothing but a 303 and a few old VHS tapes of Flash Gordon serials. - JP

sub-atomical spatialyl broadening album, the minds of katie crawford and nicole skeltys are an absolute mystery. so glad to be sharing their temporal realm to be able to listen to such a clean mix of deep acid downtemp' bitchin. every track has the potential to be the star of your set tonight, providing refuge to all us aliens out there. -JW

get the best of both worlds with them big beat tracks like super sound mixed synchronically with slower sexy grooves like the beat experience (personal fav), this is the best way to witness equanimity at its core demonstration: let the mellow tunes mellow you out, and let the funk energise you once more. what is will be, this much about acceptance of the consistently changing specious present can be learned through the multiple genres mixed into one with their own unique beauty/madness to them. -JW

if a philosopher made music, it would be fennesz. straight out of left field, this ambient album was a pleasant surprise and definitely took me to a place and time filled with unsettling nostalgia. who was i way back when? am i the master of my fate, the captain of my soul now? place yourself in a confessional booth far from civilisation with this album on the other side, and it will listen to you wholeheartedly just as you listen to it. everyone say thank you fennesz -JW
