This is perhaps the best album that Flying Lotus has ever released, and we witness him in full cosmic mastery at the height of his powers. - JP
A truly special album for me, and a testament to the genius that is Flying Lotus. A hazy, smoked out masterpiece of experimental production, Dilla-esque grooves and some truly spectacular sound design. He hadn't quite left the planet yet, and this tribute to his hometown is darkly beautiful and seductive. - JP
Decidedly on the "Starbucks friendly" side of trip hop, but does contain some lovely jazzy breaks.
Wild n quirky slab of nu-disco goodness on Soul Clap. It kind of feels like an early hip hop block party on acid. - JP
