A deep, mechanical affair from Omar S, as he takes these tracks, drowns them underwater, and then presents these mutated children to unsuspecting dancers. It's the sound of the production line. - JP

The thing about L.I.E.S. releases is that they despise the consumer and will either release tough as nails gritty bangers or absolutely unlistenable/unplayable noise. This one manages to combine both, resulting in some extremely interesting experimental techno imbued with a whole lotta NYC grit. - JP

Local hero Sampology. expands upon his already established idiosyncrasies, showcasing gorgeously lush orchestral arrangements paired with latin rhythms and a knack for marrying classic dance sounds with a musical sensibility more akin to Roy Ayers or Lonnie Liston Smith. It’s beautiful, it’s colourful, and it’s the most life affirming thing we’ve heard in a while. - JP
